Document Request Platform.

A custom B2B platform built for a Latvian audit and assurance firm to manage secure document exchange with their audit clients, then quietly hand the accepted files into the firm's existing internal network.

(The brief)

The firm collected sensitive financial documents from dozens of audit clients each cycle, mostly over email and shared folders. The process was hard to audit, easy to misplace, and a compliance liability. They needed a structured platform: one place where each audit client could see exactly which documents were requested, upload them securely, see comments, and watch the status change as the audit team accepted or returned each file.

(The build)

A web-based document-request platform with three roles (audit staff, administrators, audit clients), full activity logging, password reset flows with audit history, and a CRM-shaped client directory. Each engagement becomes a "project" with a sworn auditor, an audit period, a deadline, and a categorised list of required documents grouped by company structure.

Audit clients see only their own project; they can upload files into the requested categories, leave comments, and mark categories as not applicable. The audit team accepts or rejects each upload with feedback. Once a document is accepted, a background sync pushes it into the firm's internal network over FTP every five minutes — into a structured folder tree with a working copy and a read-only original, so the existing audit workflow doesn't change.

Built on PHP, MySQL, and Apache (the stack the firm's internal infrastructure already supported), with Let's Encrypt SSL renewed quarterly, SQL-injection and XSS protections, and UTF-8 throughout. Responsive UI on the Metronics framework so audit clients can use it from the laptop they happen to have open.

(The outcome)

Replaced the email-and-shared-folder workflow with a single audited platform. The audit team sees the status of every requested document at a glance; clients stop asking "what do you still need from me?". The two-year warranty and ongoing hosting contract (99.9% SLA, daily backups, monthly support hours) cover the platform end-to-end.

Short answers.

Yes — we build a working version wired against your actual content (FAQ, products, hours, booking flow) before launch, so the answers are real, not hallucinated. Get in touch and we'll walk you through a live example scoped to your business.

GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) is the equivalent of SEO for LLM-powered search — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google's AI Overviews. The signals overlap with classic SEO (clean HTML, structured data, citable sources, fast pages) but the patterns LLMs use to pick a source are different. We bake both into every site from day one, so the same pages rank in Google and get cited by AI search.

Three engagement shapes: Starter (about a week, single page), Standard (two to three weeks, five-page marketing site), Premium (four weeks and up — custom builds, platforms, AI integrations). Every proposal is fixed-price; a 15-minute call produces a real number, not a guess.

Yes. Modern LLMs handle Latvian well, and we tune the tone to fit your brand. It can answer in Latvian, English, or both depending on the channel and the visitor.

Yes — Cloudflare Pages, HTTPS, DNS, admin handover. Hosting and domain are registered in your name, not ours. For B2B platforms and AI integrations the hosting is scoped to the case and covered by an ongoing support contract.

Standard and Premium include thirty days of post-launch support. Beyond that, a small monthly care plan or one-off changes are available — quoted up-front, same way.
